Spring Blooms

I have been in kind of a bad mood this week! I've just been super busy at work & by the time I get home from work & the gym & cook supper, I haven't had enough time to focus on my photography as much as I'd like to. It is hard working full time & running a photography business on the side. Thank goodness I have Carla! She is in the same predicament, but we'll get there. It is a learning process & we both need our jobs & insurance, a paycheck (haha), etc. right now. Anyway, so Wednesday when I got home (yep, I skipped the gym) I got my camera out & began to explore my yard for signs of Spring. Well I found some & I had fun playing around and getting inspired by the blooms. It's a new beginning, ya know?

I signed up for a month long online workshop of sorts. It's called Picture Spring. I can't wait until April 1st to see what kind of inspiration Tracey throws at me. Please come back to visit as I am going to try to post my photos at least every couple of days. I hope to get a fresh mind & find my self (photographically) in the mean time. Here are a couple of shots from Wednesday.

Enjoy!

This is one of our blooming pear trees in my front yard. I caught the sun just before it set behind the house across the street.

This one was actually taken outside my office building. It is about to be in full bloom. I love Camillias.

I'm not sure what kind of tree this is, but it is in my back yard & I thought it had a unique bloom.

  1. I just so happened to pull up your blog tonight and you had a new post! Awesome! Love the pics! I took a few of the same at my mother-in-law's house Saturday evening and thought about the same thing....A new beginning! We will get there! We just have to keep trusting God to guide us on our journey wherever he takes us with our cameras. :) Love ya T!!!
